CPU_protocol 对突发 SAN 工作负载产生的延迟

问题

  • 对于突发的 SAN 工作负载,观察到高延迟。延迟细分显示网络和协议处理延迟较高,可通过多种方式观察到这一点:
    • perfstat :延迟自 CPU_protocol
    • PerfArchive :延迟自 Network
    • 其他性能监控工具(如 NetApp 收获 / Grafana )也会出现类似的延迟细分。 
    • Command Line : qos statistics workload latency showqos statistics volume latency show 的延迟来自 Network

示例:

  • CPU_protocol/Network 如果 SAN 处理 CPU 域(例如 SSAN_Ex)时不存在 CPU 争用,则会观察到中的高延迟。 

示例:sysstat -M 1(诊断模式)

注意:如果存在整体 CPU 争用,则延迟 CPU_protocol/Network 是预期的,此处的讨论将不适用。
