问题描述

本文介绍如何将繁忙的卷迁移到利用率较低的节点/聚合以解决CPU或磁盘瓶颈导致的高延迟、其中包括以下情形:

  • CPU瓶颈导致的高延迟,如 《ONTAP数据处理延迟解决指南》中所述。 
    • CPU资源由同一节点上的所有聚合共享、因此无法通过将卷迁移到同一节点上的其他聚合来缓解CPU瓶颈。 
    • 繁忙的卷必须迁移到利用率较低的其他节点。 
  • 磁盘瓶颈导致的高延迟,如 ONTAP磁盘利用率和延迟解决指南中所述
    • 可以通过将繁忙卷迁移到同一节点上的其他聚合或其他节点上的其他聚合来缓解磁盘瓶颈问题。 
    • 卷迁移的目标聚合可能是具有相同类型磁盘驱动器的利用率较低的聚合、也可能是具有更快磁盘驱动器的聚合。 
      • 例如:将卷从SATA聚合移动到SSD聚合可以立即解决大多数磁盘瓶颈问题。
