  • 传输文件时,典型应用程序一次会通过一个文件进行复制
  • 每个文件创建都需要执行多个元数据操作,才能完全写入该文件
  • 每个操作都可以使用额外的往返时间( RTT )来完成
  • 对于较小的文件,写入部分可以完成,而不会达到链路的带宽容量
    • 在下图中,您可以看到,在传输大型文件时,传输中的字节数保持在接近容量的位置,而在传输小型文件时,传输速率非常零星。
