为什么在SCSI写入相同的情况下、卷写入吞吐量会远远高于工作负载写入吞吐量

这是预期行为。 

  • SCSI写入相同是一种SCSI操作、它指示存储将某个模式多次写入连续数据块。
  • 在大多数情况  下、SCSI WRwrite SAME用于写入所有零、以便客户端可以初始化块设备上的数据。 
  • 客户端无需发出大量零、只需问题描述数百或数千个小型相同写入操作、这就是工作负载层或LUN层不会计费此有效负载的原因。 
  • ONTAP会将这些写入相同的操作转换为更多的WAFL写入消息、这就是在卷层观察到有效负载/吞吐量的原因。

SCSI副本卸载的工作原理与此类似、也可能导致工作负载层和卷层之间的吞吐量出现差异。 

  • ONTAP具有每个卷的统计信息、用于跟踪副本卸载选项。 
  • 副本卸载会发生原因根据副本卸载源或目标为写入操作/吞吐量和读取操作/吞吐量设置差异。
