问题描述

  • 通过 FCP 访问 LUN 的主机上的工作负载会产生显著的应用和客户端延迟
  • 网络基础设施中的更改(如交换机更换)可能会导致客户端面临延迟
  • ONTAP 在延迟计数器中具有低延迟(小于 5 毫秒)
  • 在 SAN 环境中,当存储收到来自主机的请求时,内部计时器启动并跟踪每个存储延迟中心的操作所需的时间,除了"网络"之外,所有这些中心都是内部的
  • 计时器不会停止,直到存储为请求提供服务并收到主机的确认
  • 在等待主机确认时发生的延迟被观察为"网络"延迟,因此被认为是存储控制器的外部延迟
  • 在 FC 端口的 EMS 日志中可能会观察到以下错误,但在所有情况下都不会显示

  • SAN 环境中的网络延迟在 Network 延迟中心或 Network Active IQ Unified Manager (AIQUM) 中可见,但在集群组件卷视图 Network Processing 则不可见,有时也可能不会报告网络延迟。
