e0S接口是较新的FAS和AFF存储系统中的接口。

从概念上讲、e0S是节点上的ONTAP接口、用于与其服务处理器(Service Processor、SP)或基板管理控制器(BASEboard Management Controller、BMC)进行内部通信。

  • 它会在192.0.2.x子网中自动配置硬编码的IP地址。
  • 在大多数平台上、它用于在SP/BMC和ONTAP内部直接进行SP/BMC固件更新和错误状况报告
  • 在许多基于BMC的平台上、此内部子网也用于硬件辅助存储故障转移(因为两个节点的e0S接口和BMC可以在内部相互识别)。

  • ONTAP HA配对节点和两个BMC之间存在专用和内部以太网交换子网:
    • ONTAP接口: e0S
    • BMC接口: eth0 eth1,具体取决于平台型号
