FabricPool 非活动数据报告的工作原理是什么?

块温度

将块写入本地层时、系统会为其分配一个温度值、指示它很热。随着时间的推移、后台冷却扫描会对块进行冷却、使热块变热、如果尚未读取、最终会将块变冷。假设没有活动、则根据 tiering-minimum-cooling-days 设置设置的时间、数据块将变冷。

非活动数据报告
  • 启用后、非活动数据报告(IDR)会在固定的31天冷却期内监控底层数据访问、以确定哪些数据被视为冷数据 或非活动数据。
  • 从ONTAP 9.8开始、可以为自动分层策略和仅快照分层策略调整IDR使用的冷却期。
  1. 要验证是否已在聚合上启用IDR、请使用命令 storage aggregate show -fields is-inactive-data-reporting-enabled

  1. 如果未启用IDR、请使用命令 storage aggregate modify -aggregate <aggr_name> -is-inactive-data-reporting-enabled true 打开非活动数据报告。
  1. 要显示卷上处于非活动状态的数据量、请使用AutoSupport部分 VOLUME.XML 或  volume show 命令 以及 -fields performance-tier-inactive-user-data,performance-tier-inactive-user-data-percent 参数

  • performance-tier-inactive-user-data 字段显示存储在性能层中的非活动用户数据量、如果卷位于FabricPool中且已为其指定自动分层策略、则这些数据可以分层到云层
  • performance-tier-inactive-user-data-percent 字段显示活动文件系统和Snapshot副本中处于非活动状态的数据百分比
  1. 要显示每个卷的FabricPool的性能层和云层中存储的数据量、请运行命令  volume show-footprint 或使用AutoSupport部分  VOL STATUS -F
