存储阵列类型插件( SATAP )是 vSphere Storage Multipathing 堆栈的一部分,有助于处理与存储阵列相关的事件。  vSphere 包含一个 NetApp 声明规则、该规则利用了默认的 VMW_Alua_Satp 插件、该插件专为在存储控制器使用 ALUA 配置时与支持非对称逻辑单元访问( ALUA )的存储阵列配合使用而设计。本文介绍了添加声明规则的过程、该规则可为reset_on_attempted_reserve使用 ALUA SATP 的 NetApp 设备启用该选项。

reset_on_attempted_reserve此选项用于在由于Reserve(6) 故障情况(例如交换机端口关闭或存储控制器故障转移事件)导致尝试的命令无法获得响应时、允许将 LUN 重置发送到存储阵列。存储阵列将在收到 LUN 重置请求时执行逻辑单元重置、清除所有预留并报告开机或重置( POR )状态。选择此reset_on_attempted_reserve选项可帮助 vSphere 主机从丢失的预留尝试或丢失的预留响应中恢复,这可能导致 I/O 在重置设备之前无法进行进度。  

NetApp 强烈建议在reset_on_attempted_reserve所有使用 VMFS DaStore 的 VMware vSphere 4.x 和 5.x 主机上设置该选项。这样可以最大程度地减少存储结构或存储控制器故障事件后有时出现的与预留相关的中断。此建议适用于 FC/FCoE 7- 模式 SAN ALUA 配置和所有 FC/FCoE/iSCSI 群集模式 SAN 配置。
