问题描述

与硬盘驱动器(HDD)相比、固态驱动器(SSD)的寿命终结更具可预测性。因此- 

  • 在同一系统上同时部署的相同制造商和型号的SSD可能会在大约同一时间达到使用寿命终结
  • 当SSD达到100%的额定寿命时、它可能无法在关闭电源的情况下长期保留数据
  • 处于此状态的SSD丢失数据的风险会增加。ONTAP包含某些事件管理系统(Event Management System、EMS)消息、用于通知客户其SSD即将达到使用寿命。

 
当ONTAP的额定寿命达到以下三(3)个阈值中的任何一个时、SSD将生成事件:

  1. 额定使用寿命>= 90%且< 95%:shm.threshold"。rateedLife
  2. 额定使用寿命>= 95%且< 100%:shm.threshold"。rateedLife2
  3. 已用额定寿命= 100%:shm.threshold"。rateLifeMax
