问题描述

  • 与硬盘驱动器( HDD )相比,固态驱动器( SSD )的寿命终结更具可预测性。
  • 在同一系统上同时部署的同型号 SSD 很可能会同时达到寿命终结。
  • 当 SSD 达到额定寿命的 100% 时、它可能无法在长时间关闭电源时保留数据。
  • 此状态下的 SSD 会增加数据丢失的风险。
  • ONTAP 包含某些事件管理系统 (EMS) 消息、用于通知客户 SSD 即将达到使用寿命。

 
当 SSD 的额定寿命达到以下三 (3) 个阈值之一时、 ONTAP 会生成一个事件:

  1. 额定使用寿命 >= 90% 和 < 95% : shm.threshold.ratedLife
  2. 已用额定寿命 >= 95% 且小于 100% : shm.threshold.ratedLife2
  3. 额定已用寿命 = 100% : shm.threshold.ratedLifeMax
  • 此外,事件消息还会根据过去的使用情况估计每个 SSD 的额定寿命剩余周数。
